“Now, on this road trip, my mind seemed to uncrinkle, to breathe, to present to itself a cure for a disease it had not, until now, known it had.” — Elizabeth Berg, The Year of Pleasures
This is one of hundreds of abandoned service stations along route 66. Until the interstates crossed the west, these stations did repair work and sold gasoline. Today most of the stops offer no service and at best offer snack foods and gasoline. These were at one time all owned by a local family well before our national brands. This prints beautifully on paper or canvas. Printed on fine art paper with archival inks. 14 x 12 inch print. Shipping is included in the continental United States.
